We are a data company, so we hold ourselves to a high bar on our own data handling. This page explains, plainly, what happens to personal data on this website.

2. The short version

  • This website sets no cookies and uses no analytics, tracking pixels or advertising tools.
  • Fonts and all other assets are served from our own server — your browser makes no requests to third parties such as Google.
  • The site is hosted in the European Union.
  • We only process personal data you choose to send us (via the contact form or email), plus the minimal technical logs any web server keeps.

3. What we process and why

Contact form and email

When you contact us, we process your name, company, email address and the content of your message, in order to answer your request and, where you ask for it, prepare a scoping call or a sample dataset.

Legal basis: steps taken at your request prior to entering into a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) and our legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Retention: we keep enquiry correspondence for up to [24 months] after our last contact, unless it becomes part of a contractual relationship, in which case statutory retention periods apply.

Server logs

When you visit the site, our hosting provider automatically records technical data: IP address, date and time, requested page, referrer and browser type. We use these logs only to keep the site secure and working.

Legal basis: legitimate interest in the secure operation of the website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Retention: [e.g. 14 days], then deleted.

4. Who receives your data

We do not sell personal data or share it for marketing. We use the following processors, bound by data processing agreements under Art. 28 GDPR:

6. Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to access your data (Art. 15), to rectification (Art. 16), to erasure (Art. 17), to restriction of processing (Art. 18), to data portability (Art. 20), and to object to processing based on legitimate interest (Art. 21). To exercise any of them, email hello@groundry.eu; we respond within one month.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. In Hungary this is the Nemzeti Adatvédelmi és Információszabadság Hatóság (NAIH), naih.hu. You may also contact the authority in your own EU member state.

7. Data in our capture programmes

This policy covers the website only. Footage and personal data processed in our capture programmes — from workers, premises owners and anyone else in view — are governed by separate, documented consent agreements and programme-specific privacy notices, provided to every participant before recording.

8. Changes

If our processing changes — for example if we add a new tool to this website — we update this page and the date at the top.
